Smarter Web Spends $5.8M on BTC
The latest acquisition brings the company’s total Bitcoin holdings to 2,100 coins, representing 0.1% of the asset’s total supply. The firm claims its treasury strategy is a long-term “10-Year Plan,” and so far, the recent buy brings the stash to a valuation of over $229 million. The average purchase price across its total Bitcoin accumulation now stands at $109,327 per BTC.
Despite its roots in digital services, the company’s pivot toward becoming a player in the corporate Bitcoin treasury sector seems to have paid off. The firm reports that in 2025 alone, it has achieved favorable performance metrics, including an estimated 48,273% year-to-date BTC yield. It also claims an 84% gain over the past 30 days, all based on its BTC-per-share metric.
The acquisition move places The Smarter Web Company among the world’s top 25 public companies by Bitcoin holdings. The firm aims to blend traditional operations with an aggressive digital strategy. Recall that it recently completed a $21 million Bitcoin-denominated convertible bond issuance, setting a milestone as the first UK-listed company to make such a move.
