In a significant development for the crypto market, BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) recorded a staggering $643 million inflow in a single day, marking its largest gain since January 21, according to data from SoSo Value. IBIT’s substantial investment surge is part of a larger trend of the fund’s impressive streak of positive inflows.
On Wednesday, the total daily net inflows into US Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) amounted to $916.9 million, nearing Tuesday’s $936.4 million. Other prominent Bitcoin ETFs also contributed significantly to Wednesday’s inflows. Ark & 21Shares’ ARKB attracted $129.5 million while Fidelity’s FBTC experienced a considerable influx of $124.37 million into the fund.
The recent ETF record extended the asset class’s impressive streak of consecutive inflows to a total of four days. During this period, Bitcoin ETFs attracted more than $2.3 billion, far surpassing the $1 billion in net inflows recorded during a ten-day streak in March.
BlackRock’s IBIT Wins Best New ETF
The massive daily inflow was not the only feat BlackRock’s ETF achieved yesterday. At the annual etf.com ETF awards, IBIT won “Best New ETF” for 2025 alongside Vanguard S&P 500 ETF (VOO), which won “ETF of the Year”.

“Feels right to me. I’m pretty sure this is how I voted. Both of them did things no one has seen bf.”
IBIT Continues to Record Growth
IBIT’s remarkable performance solidifies its position as a leading Bitcoin ETF, with current net assets of about $53.77 billion. The crypto fund was launched in January 2024, the same day as 10 other Bitcoin ETFs.
On May 28, 2024, IBIT became the world’s largest Bitcoin ETF after overtaking Grayscale’s Bitcoin Trust (GBTC). While Grayscale’s Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) only recorded an outflow of $105 million by the close of trading that day, IBIT saw $102.5 million in inflows. Since then, the fund has continued to record significant growth.
In a recent development, BlackRock added Bitcoin to its $150 billion model portfolio universe, allocating 1% to 2% to IBIT.
